I wanted to take a second and give you all a life update and what the future will hold, as most of you have been reaching out and emailing me about this. I was going to make a video but honestly am not sure I can even sit in front of my camera right now. So, instead I am just going to take the time and write out what life has been up to and just update everyone with what the future might look like.

I want to start out by saying I do apologize to everyone who is still waiting on a custom orders, I am a little behind but have been working so hard to get them all done. I do apologize for the delay, as I had some really large projects that took more time than I thought. If you are waiting on one and would rather get a refund, please reach out I am okay with that, especially if you do not want to wait. I absolutely understand especially with the way the world has changed these last few months. If you are still waiting and have done so this far, I really do appreciate it and just know I am at my desk 24-7 working on them (I literally haven't taken a weekend off in like three months).

On another note, I know a lot of people are wondering if I have custom orders open for 2026 yet, and the answer is still NO. I absolutely understand that you all want to get those scheduled, but as of right now we are still waiting to hear from the military as to what our future looks like, and I do not want to book custom orders if my office is going to be in a crate, in the middle of the ocean and in transit. I want to make sure that I block out those weeks/months where we might be moving and allow myself to not feel the pressure of trying to get stuff done without any household items. I am trying to get better at planning my year ahead of time especially with a move that includes overseas travel, two kids, two dogs, a car and all my fabric, sewing machines, etc. You know the important stuff.

Anyways, I do apologize, but when the military finally lets us know, I will definitely post on all the socials and possibly even here so everyone will know I am open for customs, but until then please be sure just to follow me on instagram, facebook and check back here every once in awhile.

On a lighter note, lets chat about the BOM!

This year I have enjoyed the Steampunk BOM and as we come to an end in two more months which is just two more blocks; I am beginning to ask myself what project would I like to do for next year?

This is where you all come in.

I want to see what you all have in mind. Do you want a quilt that flows as one big scene? or do we like the individual blocks? If you join patreon do you like the monthly fee or would you prefer to just pay for the entire year and be able to access the patterns as you please? What theme are you all wanting to see? Whats something you haven't seen done that you might want to see in a quilt? I would love to hear all your ideas below.

ree

As I begin to prep for the next round of BOM and trying to come up with a few ideas, I am leaning towards a specific theme and idea, but I also want to make something you all will enjoy; so please be sure to add them in the comments below so I can find out and we can come up with something that everyone will love.

Next year is going to be another very busy year, with a move, and a lot of projects already going on the calendar; this does mean I will have less time for custom orders. As, I finish up working on this years orders, I realize how detailed some of these custom orders have become and I might need to pull back a little on how many I take. With that being said, how would you all like me to help you know if I am available for those custom orders for the future? Would a calendar on the website help? Maybe a current running list? If you have any great ideas again please feel free to let me know in the comments or you can even email me, if you would like to: pitchersboutique@gmail.com

I do want to take a moment and say thank you to everyone who has stuck by me and allowed me to create patterns that sometimes come on time and other times might be a little late. I appreciate that you allow me to be human, and recognize that I have had a lot on my plate this last year or two. This entire year has been some really high highs and some really low lows. I can not thank you all enough for the patience and understanding when life (illnesses, deaths, kids, animals, etc) happen. This year has been an emotional one and I am not even sure if I am coming out stronger or just a little more bruised than normal; but I am going to attempt to finish this year off with all the energy I can find and get back on track as best I can.

Thank you to everyone who has purchased a pattern and shared it on your social media or shared it with me. I can not tell you just how much I love seeing your finished blocks and projects as it just reminds me how creative everyone is. I am so thankful that my little tiny business has brought joy to you all with these patterns that I have enjoyed creating and will continue to create. I plan to continue creating patterns as long as I can, and who knows maybe some day I will have classes, books, videos and more; but until then, thank you all for being here with me on this journey.

With that I want to say thank you again, and if you have made it this far just know you are the real MVP! Please be sure to leave your comments, ideas, opinions and anything else in the comments below and I look forward to chatting with you all real soon.

I have used a few of your patterns and been so pleased with them! I had only seen them and bought them on etsy. I am thrilled to see your website with the HUGE number of great patterns. I look forward to seeing the things you come up with and to buying and using more of your patterns. I just wish I had time to sew all the ones that I would like to!

I'm so glad you're well and yes, life is life. All of our experiences shape us into the wonderful beings we are!

You continue to amaze me with your creative ability! I will suggest a whole image pattern for 2026. Nature and animals are my favorites.

There is a lot of craziness in the world right now and for anyone in the military, particularly so.

Look after yourself; sewing and patterns, as wonderful as they are, take second place 🇦🇺
